Five-star point guard Acaden Lewis has officially committed to Villanova, according to an ESPN report. Lewis, considered one of the top players in the 2025 class, cited his strong relationship with Villanova’s coaching staff as a key factor in his decision. His decision comes after considering offers from St. John’s, Georgia, and Miami. Lewis, the Washington D.C. Gatorade Player of the Year in 2024, is highly regarded for his pick-and-roll skills. His impressive performance in the Nike EYBL last season, where he averaged 16.7 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds, further solidified his reputation as a top-tier prospect. His commitment is a crucial step in Villanova’s rebuild under Coach Willard, who took the reins in March after a successful stint at Maryland, replacing Kyle Neptune.
