Aukey has unveiled its latest innovation in wireless charging, the MagFusion Ark, and it’s a game-changer. This isn’t your average charging pad; it’s a modular system that combines a central base station with up to three detachable, battery-powered charging spheres. Imagine the freedom of grabbing a fully charged wireless charger and taking it anywhere in your home, without being tethered to a wall outlet.
The Ark’s base station boasts up to three Qi2.2-compatible charging pads, each capable of delivering up to 25W of wireless power. But the real magic lies in the spheres. Each sphere is a self-contained 6,700mAh power bank, complete with its own Qi2.2 charging pad and a handy 30W USB-C port. This means you can wirelessly charge a device directly from the sphere, or use the USB-C port for even faster charging of devices that aren’t Qi2 compatible. The spheres also support passthrough charging, meaning they can simultaneously charge another device while they themselves are on the base station.
Aukey cleverly designed the spheres with a cooling fan to maintain optimal performance. While the number of full charges you get from a sphere’s battery will depend on your device’s battery health and capacity, expect at least one full charge per sphere, or several top-ups. The inclusion of the USB-C port allows you to bypass the inefficiencies of wireless charging and give your sphere a quick boost when needed.
The flexibility of the MagFusion Ark is impressive. You can wirelessly charge up to three devices simultaneously on the base station, and then take the spheres with you for additional charging points elsewhere. While the base’s footprint is relatively large, the trade-off for having portable chargers is arguably worth it. The ability to quickly grab a sphere and charge your phone on the go, regardless of where you are in the house, provides an unparalleled level of convenience.
The MagFusion Ark will be available in three configurations: a three-pad base with three spheres, a two-pad base with two spheres, and a single-pad base with a single sphere. Pricing will be revealed closer to its Q1 2026 launch. This innovative modular system promises to redefine the way we think about wireless charging, offering unmatched flexibility and portability for the ultimate charging experience.
